October’s finery makes the city glow with the colors of fall. Join the fall fun of the Color cruise and enjoy the autumnal glory the towering hardwood trees and their reflections on the Grand River. October is the time and Grand ledge is the place for crafts, fun and pioneer demonstrations.

The Color cruise is an exciting time for every one involved, there are crafters demonstrating their trades, pioneer, Civil War re-enactors, fur traders and a petting zoo. The Island is also filled by folk music played on traditional instruments and the thudding percussion of cloggers.
