The base of this basket measures approximately 10 ½” X 13″ with the sides being a height of 6 ½”. This basket can either feature crossed curls or a 1″ strip of ash painted with your choice of pattern. Please make sure to choose the color of dyed reed that you would like. The basket is made with a solid D-handle and is re-enforced in the base with flat oval. This is a sturdy basket to take shopping at the Farmer’s Market or to collect vegetables picked from your own garden. The basket would also be useful to hold magazines, towels or that favorite collection of dolls or teddy bears. If you have a favorite kitten it works wonderful for nap times, my daughter’s cats just love this basket.
